After visiting many cities in Brazil, within the Palco Giratório do SESC project, Lia Rodrigues Companhia de Dança is back in Rio to close the 2008 season. Next weekend the company presents the shows Encarnado and Aquilo de que somos feitos in Teatro da Unirio/Palcão. The company will also offer workshops for the students of Unirio on Saturday and Sunday (October 25 e 26), from 10h to 14h. The free tickets will be distributed one hour befor the show.
After saying goodbye to the Brazilian audience, Lia Rodrigues and her dancers will go on to France, where they will perform on November 6, 7 e 8 at the Centre National de la Danse and on November 22 and 23 at Vitry-sur-Seine. The company will present the work in progress Canteiro Poético, which is scheduled to open in the second semester of 2009.
