The 9th edition of Festival Internacional de Dança Contemporânea (FIDC) started December 5 and will go on until this Friday (19/12). Organized by Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Évora, the event is a regular space for new Portuguese creator to show their work in the Alentejo region.
This edition is being held in Evora and has a program that includes shows and workshops for adults and young audiences in decentralized venues. This year the festival will only show Portuguese creators and takes the opportunity to inaugurate Black Box, the second theater of Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Évora.
The program of FIDC will have:
Monday and Tuesday (15 and 16/12) – 10h30 to 14h30 – dance workshop with Leonor Barata
Wednesday to Friday (17 to 19/12) – 10h and 14h – presentation of Magia da Noite, by Rafael Leitão
