Aiming to foment cultural exchange and the creation of artistic networks bringing together professionals from different nationalities, Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), through Centro Cultural de España and Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), are promoting the Programa de Residências artísticas para creadores de iberoamérica y de Haiti em México. Submissions are open until Friday (27/03).

The 16 week project will include the areas of visual arts, dance, drawing, literature, audiovisual media, music and theater. Those interested in submitting must meet the requirements of the regulation (click here to read it), such as presenting a specific project to be developed during the residency, which should be presented at the Segunda Muestra de Arte Iberoamericano (November 27 to December 6). The residency venues will be divided by discipline: dance and literature will take place at Centro Veracruzano de las Artes Hugo Argüelles.

To submit, the applicant must fill out – in Spanish – the application form available at FONCA website , attach it to the required documents and deliver three copies at the embassy of your country or at FONCA bureaus, in the case of Mexicans (read here the list of required documents). The selection result will be announced on July 27.
