Rediscovering poet Torquato Neto in the memory of the residents of Teresina, in the state of Piaui is the goal of Cia. Luzia Amélia with November edition of the #1MinutoParaDança project, which takes place this Wednesday and Friday (25 and 27/11), in the city’s streets.
With the performance Torquato 65, the company intends to recreate paths and routes of the artist, born in 1944. The idea is to visit the places that marked Torquato’s life, reintroducing his imagery to the inhabitants of Teresina.
On Wednesday, the intervention starts at 9h and takes place on the streets of Barrocão district. On Friday, at 16h, there will be a debate about the poet’s life and work at SESC Avenida Maranhão. The participants are: George Mendes, Kenard Kruel, Claudete Dias, Noronha Filho, Bugija Brito, Lena Rios e Arnaldo Albuquerque.
