Carmen Gomide e Luiz de Abreu dividem palco em projeto | Carmen Gamide and Luiz de Abreu share the stage

De hoje (6/03) até domingo (8/03), os coreógrafos Carmen Gomide e Luiz de Abreu dividem o palco do Teatro de Dança no projeto Bem-Casado. Neste programa, um artista de São Paulo convida outro de uma cidade ou estado diferente.

Seguindo esse mote, o baiano Luiz de Abreu apresenta Bahia, espetáculo baseado nos registros das torturas sofridas por escravos africanos na Bahia do século XVIII e em arquivos de discriminação racial nos dias de hoje. Assim como Luiz, Carmen explora um tema forte em re(volta). A partir da poesia de Alice Ruiz, ela trabalha as diferentes transformações da palavra em questão ao longo do tempo.

From today (6/03) until Sunday (8/03), choreographers Carmen Gomide and Luiz de Abreu share the stage of Teatro de Dança in the project Bem-Casado. In the program an artist from São Paulo invites an artist from a different city or state.

Following the proposal Luiz de Abreu, from Bahia, presents the show Bahia, based on records of the torture endured by African slaves in the 18th century and archives of racial discrimination in the current days. Like Luiz, Carmen explores a strong subject in re(volta). Using the poetry of Alice Ruiz, she deals with the different transformations of word throughout time.
