Atenção artistas que trabalham com videodança: duas importantes convocatórias estão abertas nos próximos dias. Uma delas é para participar do 14º ADF Dancing for the Camera: International Festival of Film and Video Dance, que acontecerá entre os dias 26 e 28 de junho, nos EUA. O prazo de inscrições foi aberto dia 24 de março de vai até 24 de abril.

Os trabalhos devem se enquadrar em uma das seguintes categorias: Coreography for the Camera (obra feita especificamente para o vídeo ou uma remontagem); DocumentariesExperiment and Digital Technologies (trabalho que ultrapassa as fronteiras da coreografia e usa novas tecnologias); e Student Work (trabalhos em videodança produzidos por estudantes). (produções que podem conter entrevistas além de coreografia);

Já o EMPAC DANCE MOViES Comission, em Nova York, recebe projetos até 1º de maio. O órgão – ligado a Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – financiará trabalhos para vídeo. Eles poderão variar no formato, mas todos devem ser realizados em colaboração com um coreógrafo ou artistas que trabalhem com movimento. O financiamento pode variar de US$7 mil a US$40 mil. Attention all artists working with videodance: two call for entries are open on the next few days. The other one, EMPAC DANCE MOViES Comission, in Nova York, is receiving projects until May 1st. The institution – connected to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – will finance video works. They may be in different format, but they all must be produced in collaboration with a choreographer or artist who deals with movement. The financing may range from $7.000,00 to US$40.000,00.
