Depois de 12 anos de atividades e muito trabalho em Fortaleza, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bienaldedanca.com\/2009\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bienal Internacional de Dan\u00e7a do Cear\u00e1<\/a> expande seus horizontes e desembarca em Cabo Verde no dia 19 de janeiro. Com 14 espet\u00e1culos brasileiros e 11 locais, o festival levar\u00e1 uma parcela da produ\u00e7\u00e3o em dan\u00e7a cearense para al\u00e9m-mar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"pt-br\">Chamado de <strong>Conex\u00e3o Cabo Verde<\/strong>, esse \u2018bra\u00e7o\u2019 da Bienal contar\u00e1 com cinco dias de intensa programa\u00e7\u00e3o de espet\u00e1culos, oficinas, cursos, palestras e encontros. O objetivo \u00e9 criar uma rede de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com aquele pa\u00eds, fortalecendo os processos colaborativos de cria\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cOs caboverdianos est\u00e3o muito presentes na cidade de Fortaleza, nas universidades. Achamos que \u00e9 um foco importante para a Bienal\u201d, afirma o diretor-geral da Bienal de Dan\u00e7a do Cear\u00e1, David Linhares.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"pt-br\">Tudo come\u00e7ou com um sonho de criar liga\u00e7\u00f5es art\u00edsticas mais fortes entre pa\u00edses do hemisf\u00e9rio sul, sem ter grande interfer\u00eancia do hemisf\u00e9rio norte. Somado a isso, a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um voo direto Fortaleza-Praia (capital de Cabo Verde) contribuiu bastante para que o projeto se transformasse no Conex\u00e3o Cabo Verde. Depois de conversas aqui no Brasil \u2013 durante a Bienal 2009 \u2013 e l\u00e1, a ideia tomou forma. \u201cO Raiz di Polon esteve aqui na Bienal e tivemos uma primeira conversa de curadoria juntos. Depois eu estive em Praia e tivemos muito apoio do governo de l\u00e1. Em seis meses o projeto estava confirmado\u201d, lembra David.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"pt-br\">Al\u00e9m da import\u00e2ncia deste primeiro grande encontro, David ressalta o fato de que ser\u00e1 a primeira viagem internacional de muitos artistas. Entre os participantes est\u00e3o o Dona Zefinha, CEM \u2013 Centro de Experimenta\u00e7\u00f5es em Movimentos, Cia. Vat\u00e1, Cia. Dita, Grupo Fuzu\u00ea, J. Garcia Cia. de Dan\u00e7a, entre outros. O festival tamb\u00e9m ter\u00e1 oficina de videodan\u00e7a com Alexandre Veras, e de est\u00edmulos para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de movimentos e processos criativos com Silvia Moura, al\u00e9m de palestra sobre pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas para a dan\u00e7a com Leonel Brum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"pt-br\">\u201cEstou muito otimista com o resultado. Eles adorem o Brasil, os cearenses. E como h\u00e1 muitas apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es na rua, tenho at\u00e9 medo do n\u00famero de pessoas que podemos concentrar! Temos que nos encontrar, come\u00e7ar a pensar juntos, \u00e9 urgente. Acredito que a Conex\u00e3o ser\u00e1 o primeiro passo para multiplicarmos isso\u201d, comemora David.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"pt-br\"><strong>O idan\u00e7a quer saber<\/strong>: Voc\u00ea acha importante haver uma aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica entre os pa\u00edses do hemisf\u00e9rio sul? Por qu\u00ea?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-us\">The growing Capeverdian presence in the Cear\u00e1 state and the sharing of the Portuguese language are taking the state\u2019s dance far away. After 12 years of activities and a lot of work in Fortaleza, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bienaldedanca.com\/2009\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bienal Internacional de Dan\u00e7a do Cear\u00e1<\/a> is expanding its horizons and lands in Cape Verde on January 19. With 14 Brazilian shows and 11 local ones, the festival will take part of Cear\u00e1\u2019s dance across the ocean.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-us\">This \u2018branch\u2019 of the Bienal, called <strong>Conex\u00e3o Cabo Verde<\/strong>, will have five days of intense shows, workshops, courses, lectures and meetings program. The goal is to create a collaboration network with the country, strengthening collaborative creation processes. \u201cCapeverdians are very present in the city of Fortaleza, at the Universities. We think it\u00b4s an important focus for the Bienal\u201d, states David Linhares, general director of Bienal de Dan\u00e7a do Cear\u00e1. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-us\">Everything started as a dream of creating stronger artistic connections with countries in the Southern hemisphere, without having much interference from the Northern hemisphere. Adding to that, the creation of a direct Fortaleza-Praia (capital of Cape Verde) flight contributed a lot to the transformation of the project into Conex\u00e3o Cabo Verde. After many conversations here in Brazil \u2013 during Bienal 2009 \u2013 and there, the idea took shape. \u201cRaiz di Polon was here in Bienal and we had a first conversation about doing curatorship together. Afterwards I went to Praia and we had a lot of support from the government there. After six months the project was confirmed\u201d, David remembers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-us\">Besides the importance of the first big meeting, David highlights the fact that this will be the first international trip for many artists. The program gathers popular dance groups whose members never even left Cear\u00e1. Among the participants are Dona Zefinha, CEM \u2013 Centro de Experimenta\u00e7\u00f5es em Movimentos, Cia. Vat\u00e1, Cia. Dita, Grupo Fuzu\u00ea, J. Garcia Cia. de Dan\u00e7a and others. The festival will also have a videodance workshop with Alexandre Veras and one about creation stimulus for movements and creative process with Silvia Moura, besides a lecture about public policies for dance with Leonel Brum. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-us\">\u201cI\u00b4m very optimistic about the result. They love Brazil and the people of Cear\u00e1. And since there are many street presentations, I\u00b4m even afraid of the number of people that we can attract! We have to meet, to start thinking together, that\u00b4s urgent.
